Rusticity’s ungainly formMay cloud the highest mind;But when the heart is nobly warm,The good excuse will find.
Propriety’s cold, cautious rulesWarm fervour may o’erlook:But spare poor sensibilityTh’ ungentle, harsh rebuke.
